Vernon Research Group officially opened its doors in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1987. After holding a position as a marketing and research consultant for Frank Magid Associates in Marion, Iowa, Monica Vernon saw a need to offer the client something more.
Rather than just providing data collection services, Monica wanted to give her clients a deeper understanding of what the data meant for them and for their business. Most importantly, she wanted to grant her clients the ability to directly act upon their research findings to make informed, deliberate business decisions.
Monica has experience in strategic planning, marketing, communication auditing, product and service development, psychology, sales, public relations, and news writing. It is upon this strong foundation of experience that she has built a successful business and gained the trust of a diverse client base.
Through the years of serving her clients, Monica has gained a solid understanding of each client’s industry and market environment. She has also recognized the need to stay abreast of the ever-evolving business climate.
